On August 18, 2026, the LEPL Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia announced the final results of the 2026 Targeted Grant Call for Science Popularization.
20 projects were selected for funding, including one from the LEPL Grigol Tsulukidze Mining Institute: 

SPG-26-261 "Saturday School" Path to Mining Science, Popularization of the Mining among Future Generations". 

Project participants:

Principal Investigator - Mamuka Bagnashvili;

Coordinator - Asmat Shekiladze;

Main Personnel - Tengiz Shubitidze;

Participating Institution - LEPL Georgian Technical University.
