The 7th World Multidisciplinary Earth Sciences Symposium "WMESS 2021"

The 7th World Multidisciplinary Earth Sciences Symposium was held on September 6-10, 2021 in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.

Topics of the symposium included engineering geology, ore processing, geodesy, geophysics, seismology, blasting technologies, environmental protection and other modern earth sciences.

Within the framework of the symposium, Grigol Tsulukidze Mining Institute organized a session "Blasting and New Technologies", which was chaired by a member of the organizing committee Prof. N. Chikhradze. At the session, in accordance with the topics of the current grants and budget projects at the Institute, the scientists of the Institute submitted oral and postre presentations (online):

1. METHANE AND COAL DUST HYBRID MIXTURE EXPLOSION PROPERTIES STUDY IN SHOCH TUBE - Speaker: Nika Bochorishvili;

2. SYNTHESIS AND EXPLOSIVE COMPACTION of Fe-W-Al-Ti-Ni-C-B MECHANICALLY ALLOYED POWDERS - Speaker: Mikheil Chikhradze;

3. INFLUENCE OF THE DROPLET VELOCITY ON THE ATTENUATION OF OVERPRESSURES IN A WATER MIST - Speaker: Edgar Mataradze; 

4. THE IMPROVEMENT OF PICRIC ACID SYNTHESIS METHODOLOGY - Speaker: Nikoloz Chikhradze;

5. MINING WASTE COMPLEX RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNOLOGIES FOR THEIR USE IN GEORGIA (Poster presentation).
