On June 28 – July 7 2019 the 19th International Scientific Multidisciplinary GeoConference SGEM 2019 was held in Bulgaria, Varna (Albena). The conference was attended by the Director of the Institute Prof. Dr. N. Chkradze as the Scientific Chairman. He made the "Invite" thematic report at the meeting: "Geodynamic processes: impact on infrastructure and challenges for rehabilitation". Dr. N. Chikhradze participated in the evaluation of the speakers’ presentations. He also awarded speakers at the ceremony of certificates transfer and awarding the winners with prizes.

Dr. N. Chikhradze participated in the work of the Scientific Committee of the Conference, where upon his initiative there was set up the periodical "International Journal of the Earth and Planetary Sciences". He also moderated the Section: "Air Pollution and Climate Change".

At the Section "Green Buildings Technologies and Materials" he made an oral presentation “Analytical and Numerical Study of Impact Loaded Cylindrical Sample”.
