8th International Caucasian Symposium on Polymers and Advanced Materials

8th International Caucasian Symposium on Polymers and Advanced Materials (ICSP&AM 8) was held at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University on August 1-3, 2023, dedicated to the memory of its founder and former chairman of the organizing committee, Professor Omar Mukbaniani, and to the 75th anniversary of his birth.
Aleksandre Vanishvili, a researcher of the Laboratory of Polymer Composites and High-Tech Materials of the Department of Explosive Materials Expertise, Explosion Protection Structures and High-Tech Composites of the Institute, who made oral presentation: "Synthesis and characterization of pseudo-proteins modified by polyamides – Poly(Ester amide-co-amide)s", which is carried out with support of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia (#PHDF-22-317: Multifunctional biodegradable polyamides modified by pseudoproteins) and polyureas) and is his doctoral research project.
The symposium was attended by both local and foreign participants from different countries (Poland, Turkey, Iran, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Belarus, Azerbaijan). The work of the symposium took place in a hybrid format, which also allowed scientists to participate remotely and present their work (Brazil, Spain, France, Ukraine, Azerbaijan).
